Sotheby’s London Evening Sale of Contemporary Art Totals £93.2 Million
Sotheby’s London Contemporary Art Evening Auction brought a total of £93.2 million. The top lot of the evening was Francis Bacon’s Three Studies for Portrait of George Dyer which sold after an extended battle between four bidders for £26.6 million, breaking the record for a small-scale triptych by the artist.
